Denver Photography: May Snow

Denver snow in May isn’t really that rare, but Thursday May 1st 2013 was a record cold at 17f.  Denver photographers were out in force and everyone with a clever phone was posting Denver snow pictures on social media (face-book).

On assignment doing Denver corporate photography in downtown, I felt compelled of course, to document the May treat.  Did I say treat.  Well after the long drought and last year’s wildfires, even warm clime imports and other sissies are hip to what Colorado has been sorely needing.  April snows and now May’s have been a boon to skiing and have gone a long way filling near-empty reservoirs.

The first pic below was done this morning while on assignment for corporate photography for SFC Energy at the 17th Plaza building.  The snowy Denver photographs were done on May 1st relating to a corporate photo-shoot for WPX Energy and the piles of snow on Denver street come last Thursday April 25 when I was doing an executive photo-shoot in Downtown Denver for WPX.
