I first met Val about 6 years ago when she was putting together her modeling portfolio.  When she and Mike became engaged, they called me to do their pictures.  Through tears and pouring rain at Arrowhead Golf course, Val and Mike wed.  It was a magical event (I remember Mike using the word surreal) and the book was a smashing success.

Mike and Val treated my son and I for dinner and invited me over for a Halloween party.  When face book appeared on the scene, Val was the first to invite me to be her FB friend.

I photographed Val’s maternity belly a few months ago and on Friday, little Owen made his entrance.
