Dennis Roop, Ph.D. is a professor of dermatology and the director of the Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus. This business portrait was made outdoors on the Anschutz campus. 
Author Betta Ferrendelli contacted me to make photographs for her book jacket cover entitled The Border. And the time we spent together during the photoshoot was fascinating for me. Amazon best-selling, journalist and author, Betta wrote the the award-winning Samantha Church Mystery Series. This image was made at a fitting location in downtown Denver. Betta sits cross legged as she peers into my lens while Greek style stoai surround her. I look forward to our next photoshoot.

Dana Veich contacted me to create some executive portraits and profile headshots for his KissCam website. 
Sportswriter Jona Keri commissioned me to create compelling business portraits for his podcast and book on baseball in Montreal Quebec. We used Coors field in Denver as our background location.

I love making compelling business headshot portrait photography. As a younger person, it was my habit to study people’s faces. Perhaps it was that which gave me a desire to make portraits. Of course, my dad being a successful portrait photographer with international acclaim had something to do with it too. I’m not sure how good I was at first. But when I look back at my early business headshots, I’m happy to see they’ve held up well (minus ‘big hair’ and the giant shoulder pads). Over the years, my skills at creating interesting business have grown. With each new and returning client my gratitude also grows. And my goal remains the same. With each photoshoot, I want to make better pictures than I did last time.
I’ve been fortunate to have created business headshot portrait photography for a huge variety of successful people. And that’s why the the decision to call this gallery “business photography” was tough. While this is a collection of business headshots and executive portraits, it’s so much more. And it demonstrates a hugely diverse clientele:
